Support Forums : How 2 know who responded?

What do I click on to collect info and be able to reference the ID to a person’s email address? I sent my survey out to 50 persons, asking questions what food, drink, etc. they’re bringing to several different days events. Now I’m getting response data -as a reference id-but don’t see the email address/who responded to each question.

Why does the “Partial Response Data”, when exported, only show a reference id -not an email adress? Do I need to add a text box for survey takers to add their email address before they submit?

Do I need to set up a text box in the survey?

Hi pbrady,
If you are sending the survey out through your own email, and not our Email Invitation system, then there’s no way for our system to automatically know where you sent the survey link to.

This can be done through the query string but it will require some messing with the survey URL.

It may just be easier to include a field asking the respondent for their contact information.
