Reason for abandoned surveys

I have a question. Could the reason for abandoning a survey be a technical issue?  In other words, a recipient of the survey link reaches the site, but finds that that the page is not displayed properly or the recipient is unable to navigate the survey.

In the case of my organization's survey, the intended respondants are individuals in the Caribbean.  As of today, we 42 abandoned and 8 submitted.

Any idea as to what possibly is the reason?

Thanks!

Hello, Amal.

An abandon registers when someone clicks on the link to your survey but submits no data.

Surveys often have high abandon rates for various reasons, especially if your survey is only one page.

But it is possible for technical issues to affect people being able to take a survey. If you are getting some completed surveys, though, a technical issue is probably not the reason for the abandons.

Tell us the name of your survey and we will be glad to take a closer look for you.
