New Survey Features: Map Survey Respondents, Duplicate Survey Response Protection, Real-time Reporting
New survey features added to SurveyGizmo this week.
- Cool world map of survey data: Want to know where in the world your survey data is coming from? Check out the new graphic on a survey’s Overview page.
- Embeded Surveys now report in real-time:A minor oversight of ours, several weeks ago we made all surveys real-time. We did not activate this feature for embedded surveys. It has been activated now!
- Text field validation: Yes, you can now assign validation to text field responses. For example, ask a respondent for an email address, and a message will appear immediately if the address is formatted incorrectly.
- Vote protection for embedded surveys: Prevent survey takers from submitting more than one response in an embedded survey. (This feature was already enabled in other types of SurveyGizmo surveys.)
- Updated autoformatting for percentages: Your respondents can more easily delete previous answers. Thanks for the recommendation, Shane!
- Build-your-own-matrix: This new question type lets you ask several questions at once using multiple question types. More info found in our blog posting.
- Upload files and images: Easily upload images, such as your company logo, and add them to your surveys. Learn all about it in our blog.
- Minor bug fix: Star images now load correctly in embedded surveys.
- WordPress plugin upgrade: Yay! The WordPress plugin has been upgraded. It now has the correct embedding link for surveys.
- Upgraded email autoresponder interface: Check it out — we think you’ll find the interface much easier to use.
- Captions and titles for charts: Have pie and bar charts in your polls? You can give them titles or captions above or below the charts.
- Multiple text box minimum number row specification: Wow, that’s a mouthful! In text box questions, you can now require a survey taker to fill out a minimum number of rows.
- Upgraded poll charts: Poll charts now respect deleted responses.
