We have offices in Boulder, Colorado and Cambridge, Massachusetts. We build Internet applications and products that allow small companies to compete and perform like their larger brethren. We aren’t held back by committee meetings, approval processes, and bureaucracy. We listen to our customers and we build the products they need.

Christian Vanek - co-founder
Christian is a serial entrepreneur and application developer who has spent the last 12 years creating technology for marketers and publishers. Christian is one of those programmers who gets a bug in his ear about something and then just has to go and build something better. He’s the developer behind Co-Reg Complete, SurveyGizmo and numerous other private label applications.
In the past, he spent most of his time developing marketing and content tools for organizations such as SBC, AT&T, MarketingSherpa, DCI, Jellicle Investors, Boston University and the Glimpse Foundation. Now he works non-stop on SurveyGizmo’s back-end technology and system design.

Scott McDaniel - co-founder
Scott previously was Internet Director of MarketingSherpa. Prior to that he worked as Marketing Director of MessageMedia (an Email Service Provider aquired up by DoubleClick) and also headed the web design and development firm Decisive Communications. For Widgix, Scott concentrates on making applications more useful and easier to use. He does this using his expertise in usability and design gained from his years as an Internet marketing and development specialist with a background in graphic design.
Scott built his very first web page in early 1997, but all evidence of this has been destroyed to protect the innocent. He holds a Masters degree in Volcanic Geo-Chemistry (and honestly, we are not really sure what that means, just that he is a smarty). We are hoping that some day at Widgix, he might be able to apply that expertise to something so that he can finally prove the value of his formal education.

Heidi Anderson - communications manager
Heidi calls herself a freelance writer. What this really means is that she has written articles, case studies, web site copy and more for a wide range of Internet and technology-related publications and private companies, including Smart Computing magazine, PC Today magazine, CE Lifestyles magazine, ClickZ, Harvard Management Communication Letter, Front Range Living, Windward Studios, Captaris and others. For SurveyGizmo, she does everything from writing tutorials to editing copy written by software engineers (a somewhat challenging task!)
Jason Lange - customer service manager
Jason is an all around internet guru that loves to work with others to ensure that they can use and enjoy technology and the internet as much as he does. Whether dealing with simple basic tasks or the most challenging complex problems, Jason will use his many years of support expertise to help you find the solution you need. He can often be found catching the latest release at the movies or hiking any one of the many beautiful trails near Boulder, CO.
Chad Shinsato - client services developer
Chad is a developer that will pick over a problem with a fine toothed comb. He’s a problem solver at heart and is always looking for the next mountain to climb (if only to ski back down it). He loves to play with data and one day (he claims), he’ll be able to predict the future. At SurveyGizmo, Chad designs customized solutions for its clients and is always awaiting the next analytical challenge.
