Public School Choice 4.0 Writing Workshops

Writing Workshop

During the Writing Workshops, you will receive one-on-one support from a "helper" who will review the current draft of your proposal.

Writing consultations will be offered October 11th, 18th, or 25th (Thursday). They are scheduled for one-hour blocks of time and you may be assigned one or two readers.

Readers will read for plan organization, coherence, and content. However, please note that readers are not part of the Superintendent's Review Panel and will not be reviewing final plan submissions. Their feedback is offered as guidance and support, but should not be taken as a definitive indication of how your plan will ultimately be reviewed.

In the form below, only check the times for the dates that you would like to participate in the Writing Workshop.

Please email your draft proposal to joanna.han@lausd.net at least two days prior to your appointment date. This will allow your helper to prepare for the meeting with you.

You may bring sections, bullet points, etc. You do not have to have a complete, full proposal draft in order to sign up.

Please bring two hard copies of your draft proposal.

Helper assignments will be made on a first come, first serve basis. We will take as many teams per hour that we can accomodate.
