Celebrating the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Northern Colorado
2014 nominations are being sought to honor entrepreneurs throughout Larimer and Weld County.
- Four Northern Colorado individuals will be honored for their entrepreneurial spirit at the Bravo! Entrepreneur Awards
- One person who has at least 10 years experience in the Northern Colorado market will be recognized with a Lifetime Achievement, and...
- One organization or individual demonstrating a commitment to economic regionalization in Northern Colorado will be presented with the Regional Spirit Award All four community Bravo!
Entrepreneurs must meet these criteria:
- Entrepreneur must be the founder of the business or have been instrumental in its growth
- Company must be based in, or have been founded in, Larimer or Weld County
- Business' origin should include vision, risk and creativity
- Company should be profitable
- The entrepreneur and the company should be contributing to the community through charitable and/or leadership roles
- Company must have demonstrated innovation in its employee programs and corporate culture
- Company should have demonstrated an ability to overcome adversity
- Company should have demonstrated significant growth and long-term potential
The Emerging Entrepreneur must meet these criteria:
- The criteria for the community Bravo! Entrepreneur awards apply to this category
- The additional requirement is that the company must have been in business five years or less
The Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to an individual who meets this standard:
- In addition to being an entrepreneur this individual will have at least 10 years experience in the Northern Colorado business community
The Regional Spirit Award will be presented to an individual or organization:
- Who has demonstrated a commitment to regionalization of the Northern Colorado economy
