Nominee Information
Thank you for your interest in the University of Idaho Leadership Academy! The Leadership Academy brings together a select group of faculty and staff for a year-long, cohort leadership development experience. As in years past, we will continue to be selective with our applicants to ensure a balanced group. To this end, please be thorough and complete in your responses for the nomination.
The nomination form asks for you to fill out brief demographic information as well as write responses to questions. These short responses will give us insight into your motivation for participation in the program and help us learn a bit about you. It is our goal to build a team-like atmosphere among the participants and these questions help us do this. Additionally, you may be contacted via phone for a follow up conversation.
We ask that you upload a current resumé or vita so we have a good idea of your background, education, and other involvement.
Finally, we ask that you speak with your direct supervisor and seek her/his acknowledgement of your desire to participate. Should you be among those who are selected, Jeanne Stevenson, Vice Provost for Faculty will have a conversation with your supervisor detailing the time commitment and desired support. - Breadth and depth of responses in statement of interest
- Clearly articulated goals
- Balance in composition of group (e.g., locations, staff, faculty, underrepresented groups)
