Science & Engineering Ambassadors: Energy Choices

Select Energy Topics of Interest to You

Science and Engineering Ambassadors

The energy choices we make now are key to creating a sustainable future. But how often are these choices informed by science, and how often do we have opportunities for community conversations about energy, sustainability, and the choices that we can make as individuals and as a society?

The Science and Engineering Ambassadors put all these pieces together in a new program developed by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering. Twenty-six energy researchers (the Ambassadors), working with partners like Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and other Pittsburgh organizations, will bring up-to-date science knowledge and a knack for communication to a series of ongoing community conversations about energy.
