Jackson Citizen Interaction Survey

Introduction

The Citizen Interaction Design Project is conducting research to learn how people in your city currently use different types of information technology to engage with local government services. The project is run by the University of Michigan and will task students to create services that help people get information from their local governments and share their own thoughts with city officials. We're asking that you answer these questions to help us learn more about Jackson. Your responses are essential for us to design tools that are usable for people like you. Please have an adult in the household fill out these questions.

All of our results are confidential, and will only be reported as a mix of all responses. Your individual answers will never be shared. While we don't see any real risks to you and your family for helping us, it's possible some questions may make you uncomfortable. It's OK to skip questions you don't want to answer. We hope that a benefit of helping us with these questions is that we develop tools that eventually help you interact with your local government in new and interesting ways.
