Waste heat is an expected byproduct of many industrial processes such as petroleum refining, glass making, plastic manufacturing, garbage incineration, metal working, and cement manufacture. Collectively, these energy intensive industries provide a large opportunity to increase resource efficiency by converting a portion of the heat to electricity (Waste Heat to Electricity, WH2E). The generated electricity can be consumed locally to reduce facility operating costs. The survey company is seeking information to refine a WH2E generator product.
