1. Is this application being made on behalf of an existing organization wishing to host a Village Square? *This question is required.
2. If the answer to the above question is "YES" please give us info on the existing organization.
3. Village Square requirement: To start a Village Square, you'll need at least two local leaders ready to become your "City Board" - one Democrat and one Republican. Elected officials are wonderful (but not required). It helps if they're friends, but at a minimum they both need to be fully committed to this idea. Civility breaks a sweat, you know.

4. Village Square requirement: You'll need a person that makes this thing go, they're called the "City Director" (alternatively "The Queen/King", "The Juggler" or maybe even "The Mark"). Find a job description HERE.
5. Congratulations! Apparently you've found 3 civil people in your city, which is (sadly) more than some hometowns. Village Square requirement: Alas, you'll need more. Tell us about 20 "Founders" you've conned into supporting you. We recommend that eventually you have about 50. Find the "job" (and we use that term loosely since there is no actual money involved) description HERE. Founders, as a group, should maintain a rough balance between liberals and conservatives.
