This study is investigating the influence of personality on relationships. In particular, we were looking at whether Machiavellianism (a personality trait associated with distrust and manipulation) is associated with romantic relationships and sexual behaviour such as the use of deception within these relationships, motivations for engaging in sexual relationships and attitudes towards infidelity.
