DIT Employment of Staff with Disabilities Survey 2014/15

This short survey should take no more than 3-4 minutes to complete.

This is a confidential and anonymous survey.

1) DIT is committed to employing and supporting staff with disabilities; if you do have a disability, and wish to learn more about the support that can be made available to you, please inform your line manager who can then liaise with the Disability Support Service to help accommodate your needs.

2) DIT is also committed to responding to staff feedback; if you do have a disability and feel that you have/have not been supported, then please contact the Disability Support Service by emailing Bob Ó Mhurcú at bob.omhurcu@dit.ie

3) Under the Disability Act 2005, DIT is required to provide data on the employment of people with disabilities in the public sector. Information gathered will be used for statistical purposes only. Your personal details will be kept confidential and reported on anonymously.

4) Every employee, whether or not you have any impairment or disability, is asked to complete this survey.
1. What is your employment status?
2. Disabilities can include any long-term (including episodic) condition, including:
  • A physical impairment
  • A sight, hearing or speech impairment
  • An intellectual disability
  • A mental health condition
...which can cause difficulties in work, social life or leisure/culture activities.

Taking the above into account, would you say you have a disability?
