The following 15 policy statements embody our core values and represent policy solutions that have strong public support. For each question, select the multiple choice answer (Agree, Disagree, or Don’t Know/Unsure) that best reflects your position. The entire questionnaire should take 15 minutes to complete. For each question, select the multiple choice answer (Agree, Disagree, or Don't Know/Unsure) that best represents your position. If absolutely needed, space is provided at the end for explanation.

1. California public schools have the largest class sizes in the nation and are at the bottom in per pupil spending. I support increasing state funding for K-12 public education. *This question is required.
2. Funding for California higher education has been cut by billions over the last ten years with tuition doubling at public universities and colleges. I support restoring funding for higher education to pre-recession levels. *This question is required.
3. I support spending government money to establish federal and state programs making high-quality preschools available to every child in America. *This question is required.
4. Raising taxes on wealthy people and corporations to fund education and public safety is more important than lowering taxes on wealthy people and corporations. *This question is required.
5. Affirmative action programs are still needed to counteract the effects of discrimination against women and minorities in employment and education. I support affirmative action as long as there are no rigid quotas. *This question is required.
6. I support providing a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants in the U.S. if they meet certain requirements including paying back taxes and passing criminal background checks. *This question is required.
7. I support the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe versus Wade decision that established a woman's constitutional right to an abortion. *This question is required.
8. I support allowing same-sex couples to marry and have marriage laws apply to them. *This question is required.
9. Bullying in our schools and through social networks is a serious problem and I support increasing funds for school anti-bullying programs. *This question is required.
10. I support increasing the minimum wage in California to $15 per hour by 2021 through $1 annual increases starting in 2016. *This question is required.
11. Closing the commercial property loopholes in Prop 13 can restore billions in funding for schools and public services. I support the regular reassessment of non-residential commercial properties at current market value if protections can be maintained for small businesses, homeowners and renters. *This question is required.
12. I support an oil and gas extraction fee for California that will generate 1-2 billion dollars in annual state revenue and is similar to fees charged by other large oil producing states. *This question is required.
13. I support California's landmark cap-and-trade market program to combat global warming by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. *This question is required.
14. I support a single payer health insurance option like Medicare that is comprehensive, cost effective, and publicly provided to all residents of California. *This question is required.
15. The Citizens United decision increased the political influence of major corporations, banks and financial institutions by allowing unlimited political expenditures. I support overturning the Citizens United decision and I also support campaign finance reform that enacts new, tough, anti-corruption laws for politicians, lobbyists and super PACs. *This question is required.
