JEA Aspiring Young Journalist

DEADLINE: The application must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central time, March 15, for consideration in the Aspiring Young Journalist award.

Because you cannot save your progress on this form, we recommend that you develop your answers to these questions in another program, such as Google Docs or Microsoft Word, and then copy and paste your responses into the fields below.

4. Winners will be recognized at the Saturday awards ceremony at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention. Will the student and/or someone from the media program be in attendance?
7. Do you plan to enroll this year in a high school journalism program (newspaper, yearbook, broadcast, online media, literary/news magazine)?
9. Upload a high-resolution head shot of yourself and a candid photo of yourself doing journalistic work. Include a caption of the candid photo in the Comments section.(jpg files accepted; files must be 2 MB or less, at least 200 ppi resolution)

13. Upload three to five examples of the applicant’s journalistic work (writing, photography, design, etc.).
