2014 CAP / William S. Hart Park Youth Silent Filmmaking Program Participant Application

The CAP/William S. Hart Park Silent Filmmaking Workshop is a free seven week program for youth (ages 10-17) where they will learn theater and acting from teachers at the Canyon Theater Guild and filmmaking from instructors of the CalArts Community Arts Partnership (CAP). The program will take place at William S. Hart Park & Museum located at 24151 Newhall Avenue, Newhall, CA 91321 on October 4, 11, 18 & 25 and November 1, 8, & 15th from 1:00pm - 5:00pm everyday, except October 18, 2014 where class will take place from 10am-4pm for a location-based film shoot at Castaic Lake.  A special culmination screening for students in the program will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at CalArts located at 24700 McBean Parkway, Valencia, CA 91355.

To apply to participate in this program, please complete the application below.  Applications must be received by Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:59pm to be eligible for participation.  Applicants will be notified of their their acceptance into the program by Friday, September 26, 2014 at 5pm.
