About the ‘Planet Protector Academy: Zero Waste’
DreamRider is looking to develop a zero waste focused version of our
Planet Protector Academy citizen engagement program, which uses storytelling, comedy, game theory and creative activities to inspire children to become environmental superheroes and lead measurable behaviour change at home.
Background to the Planet Protector Academy
The first version of the Planet Protector Academy – Keep Cool – engaged families in reducing their energy and transportation emissions. The program has so far reached 4,500 children and their families, with rave reviews from kids, parents and teachers. Results have been very exciting, with 65% of families driving less!
DreamRider Productions are youth engagement experts using theatre, music and multimedia to inspire public action on environmental issues. We are a Registered Charity and our programs have reached over 850,000 students since 1997!
