Construction Volunteer Groups

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a group build with Beaches Habitat for Humanity. Whether you are looking for an opportunity for your company, church group, family or more, we welcome groups to reserve a day to build on our construction sites. Openings may be available for 5 to 20 people on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 8am to 4pm (a half day option is available) or Saturday morning from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Larger groups or a different schedule may be possible depending on the timing of your event.

Due to the nature of our work, we do have some limitations in regard to group builds:

The minimum age to volunteer is 16. Limited opportunities may be available for 14 and 15 year olds to volunteer. Contact the Volunteer Services Manager for more information.
Youth Groups may participate, though there are restrictions to the activities that youth can perform. We ask that you include in your volunteer count 1 adult (25 or older) for every 4 youth volunteers.
Equipment and on-site training for all tasks will be provided. Volunteers of all experience levels, including those with no experience, are welcome.

Construction site activities are limited to those over the age of 16, with restrictions for 16 and 17 year old volunteers. Limited opportunities are available for 14 and 15 year old volunteers. Please describe the age range of your group: *This question is required.
