Thank you for applying to the 2015 STEM Teacher and Researcher Program!

Please note: Applications close on Thursday, January 15, 2015. We prefer that your professional reference submits their recommendation before that, but we will accept recommendation up until one week later. We'll send your referee an email with submission instructions, but we will NOT send reminders as the deadline approaches. Please follow up with your referee to make sure they submit your recommendation in a timely manner. You may need to check with your referee to make sure that the STAR Request email isn't misdirected to their spam folder.

Review of applications begins immediately after applications close. We'll let you know whether you've advanced to the next phase of the application process in early February. Final placements will be announced by late April. The 2015 STAR Program runs from June 15 to August 15, 2015.

You will receive a submission confirmation email shortly. This email will include the above information. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please contact us at star@calpoy.edu as we will not have received your completed submission.
