Hello, my name is Celeste Kelly. I'm a recently graduated psychology major from the University of Mary Washington. I am inviting you to participate in a research study I am conducting with Dr. Mindy Erchull and Dr. Miriam Liss from the University of Mary Washington Psychology Department. Participation in this study is completely voluntary.
The purpose of this study is to learn more about lesbian women’s opinions of themselves and their future plans. We are looking for individuals who identify as lesbian women and are currently enrolled in college to complete this survey.
If you choose to participate, you will complete an online questionnaire. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes. All of your responses will remain anonymous; this means that we have no way of connecting anything you say to who you are. You do not have to answer any question that makes you feel uncomfortable, and you may end the survey at any time.
The benefits of this study include the opportunity to learn more about how lesbian women perceive themselves. We do not anticipate that you will encounter any negative consequences as a result of your participation in this study.
