Seed Your Startup 2015 Applications

All applications must be submitted by March 18, 2015 and we encourage all students with an idea to apply.

Although the selection of finalists will be based on the ability to move the project forward in summer 2015, the support of Propel and LEAP at Fanshawe is available for projects of any nature. Support is available to provide insight and guidance throughout the process. Please don’t hesitate to seek out assistance when submitting your application!

Pitch your business in a tweet (140 characters)
Describe the problem your venture aims to solve. How big is the problem?
How does your venture solve the problem? What is unique and more effective about your solution compared to the current products?
Identify the market of your business including relevant market research data. How big is it? Growth rate?
Identify your target demographic. Why did you pick this group as your target market?
Identify your competitors within the market. What is your competitive advantage or key differentiators? Strengths & Weaknesses: yours vs. theirs
Share your business model including a cost break down and revenue generating strategy. Include any key financial projections: cash flow statement? Break even analysis? If you don’t have these, please illustrate how you plan to make money.
Identify the members who are currently involved, their roles, and what experience or knowledge makes them exceptional at what they do. What additional people and skills are required?
Share your action plan for bringing your product/service to market. How will you reach your audience and raise awareness of your business? Outline the timeline around the roll out.
