2015 Parks Forum Non-Profit/Government Organization Showcase Opportunity
For the first time, the Parks Forum is looking to hold a Non-Profit Showcase reception on the evening of Friday, March 13th. This reception would host a number of Non-profits and governments to showcase their organizations and programs to the Parks Forum delegates. This opportunity would be free of charge and is on limited basis due to space restrictions. To apply for selection at this event please complete the online form no later than January 30th.
The 2015 Parks Forum Committee will review the applications and let you know if you have been selected by no later than February 6th.
The Parks Forum was inspired by the incredible diversity of Alberta’s parks, landscape and open spaces. As a result, the Forum has been attended by a broad cross-section of participant from Alberta’s three major park providers (municipal, provincial, and national), as well as a variety of key partners, educators, and students. This event typically attracts 150 delegates and has been held biennially since 2005. The theme for the 2015 Parks Forum is “Connections”. Parks create Connections – connections with nature, connections with health, connections with other sectors and other people and even connections with our inner self.
