Recognize a graduating student who has persevered through significant challenges and inspired others along the way. Santa Monica College is once again highlighting 4-6 outstanding graduates in our Commencement Program (printed and digital booklets), and we invite you to
nominate a deserving student.
Nominated students must be graduating in 2023-2024 with a degree or certificate (students transferring without a degree or certificate are not eligible for the nomination but please ask them to apply for graduation--they may be eligible for a degree or certificate).
The deadline for nominations is March 31.

Before you submit, ensure the student is qualified. Speak to the student first. Please note that if selected, your nomination will be shared with a writer who will interview the student. Selected students will be asked to sign a release. Once published (electronic and other media), the profiles cannot be unpublished.
