Expectations to Our Teachers

 

This survey is part of the collection of the work for the course JOUR3111 at the University of Queensland. It will cover thoroughly the issue of high stress levels among the teaching staff. 

 

Education has a great social importance especially in the modern and complex industrialized societies. Philosophers of all periods, beginning with ancient stages, devoted to it a great deal of attention. Researches done by Safe Work Australia reveal teachers are Queensland’s most stressed workers. Various studies emphasis teacher stress has reached unacceptable levels. However, there is limited information available on the complex causation of stress. This online survey will help investigating, from students' and parents' standpoints, the current situation of teachers in Queensland.
