Tech2 Empower: Ukraine is a partnership between the Ukrainian Women’s Fund (UWF) and WAKE. Tech2Empower will support women’s rights organizations in Ukraine to leverage technology tools, resources and expertise more effectively.
We have identified your organization as a potential participant in the Tech2Empower workshop that will take place in Kyiv, 26-28 October. Potential workshop topics include social media, web design and maintenance, design topics such as infographics, fundraising, program management and database, and more. Your response to this survey will help us customize the curriculum to make sure it is highly relevant.
Women from leading technology companies in California will travel to Kyiv to teach the workshop and engage with the Ukrainian women participating. In addition to the skills training, Tech2Empower represents an opportunity to network with other women from across Ukraine, as well as from the U.S.

Tech2Empower required eligibility criteria:
- Women led organization
- Primary beneficiaries of your work: women & girls
- Focus areas: issues facing women & girls (GBV, trafficking, harassment, discrimination, IDP-specific issues (head of household, displacement, post traumatic stress, sexual violence in conflict), barriers to education and economic empowerment, political participation
- Some web/online presence (i.e. Facebook page, website, blog, etc.)
- Willingness and capacity to work regularly with Tech Advisers for at least 6 months
Preferred:
- At least one team member who can communicate in English
- At least 2 full-time paid staff
- Reach of organization (or plans to expand) beyond local community
