Divine Word Custodial / Cleaning Survey

As some of you may know, our custodian Jessica Mews (Embertson), will be leaving our employment at the end of October. This survey is intended to gather your thoughts on which direction the property board should go with the cleaning of the church. 1) Hire a new custodian (employee from outside the congregation), 2) Hire a cleaning service (independent cleaning business), 3) Rely on our members to volunteer to clean. NOTE: rather than cycling cleaning duties through all members of the congregation as we did in the past, we would ask that congregation members volunteer.

Church cleaning requires 8-12 hours / week of focused work. More hours may be needed during advent and lent seasons. A detailed list of cleaning tasks will be provided as well as all supplies.
