Building The Future Of Physically Integrated Dance in the United States

National Convening

In May, 2016, AXIS Dance Company will be hosting an intimate convening of professionals engaged with the training, performance, presentation, and support of physically integrated dance for performers with and without physical disabilities.

Supported with funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and with the help of our media partner, Dance/USA, this timely forum is being designed to create a rich conversation around best practices, challenges, and opportunities to expand and ignite the capacity of this vital field. The findings will be broadly disseminated through a series of post-convening events and communications.

We want to hear your insights on what you see as the most pressing challenges and promising opportunities facing physically integrated dance in the USA today.
