GSI Preference 2

Dear Survey Participant:

My name is Tum Suppakittpaisarn. I am a Doctoral student under the supervision of Dr. William Sullivan in the Department of Landscape Architecture, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We are interested in learning about how much you like rainwater capturing strategies in the US.

Flooding is a big problem in many places. One strategy for reducing flooding also have a wide range of other benefits. That strategy involves capturing rain water before it gets into the storm sewer and using plants to absorb and filter the water.

In the pages that follow, you'll see a range of ways that cities use to manage rain water. Please look at each image and tell us how much you like the landscape. There are a total of 55 pictures. Please take a look at each picture and provide an answer by clicking at the answer you see fit. Filling out the questionnaire is voluntary and you can skip questions you prefer not to answer or pictures you prefer not to consider. You do not need to include your name or address. Your response will be treated with complete confidentiality. You can stop your participation in the survey at any time if you like.

The questionnaire is entertaining and easy to do. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

If you have questions about the questionnaire, please send an e-mail to wcsulliv@illinois.edu. We are interested in using the results of this research to help understand your preference in landscapes that manage rainwater.
