Reducing Barriers to Professional Development Bursary Program

The Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) and the Alberta Ministry of Culture and Tourism have created the Reducing Barriers to Professional Development Bursary to assist Alberta recreation and parks professionals interested in participating in the CPRA Professional Development Certification (CPRA PDC). A total of 70 course-related bursaries of $310/each will be made available to Alberta recreation and parks professionals based in: 1) remote, 2) rural, or 3) Aboriginal communities and Metis settlements.


IMPORTANT: To register for the CPRA Professional Development Certification, you or the organization you work for must be an active member of ARPA.

This bursary will be ending as of February 15, 2017 - so apply today! (Note, you
 do not have to complete a course by Feb 15, but you do need to have registered for an upcoming course.)
