School Receivership - Public Feedback Form

Introduction:

In accordance with New York State Education Law §211-f and New York State Commissioner’s Regulation section 100.19, the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) is required to hold a public hearing for each of the nine (9) schools identified as Struggling and Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) for the purposes of discussing the performance of these schools and the construct of receivership, and obtaining input from the public regarding recommendations for improving these schools.

New York City schools use the elements of the research-based Framework for Great Schools, defined below, to help them organize school improvement interventions and supports to promote students' academic success. When providing your recommendations for improving the identified Struggling School, please try to align your comments with one or more of the Framework elements (or other areas,) by responding in the spaces provided for numbers 1-8. General comments and recommendations may also be provided in #9.
