Dear Sylvan Shores Property Owner

We are conducting a brief survey to obtain property owners’ perspective on topics of interest. Your input as a property owner is important!

Simply complete the brief survey. The survey is limited to property owners only. One survey per owner regardless of number of lots owned.

5. The current covenants restrict building of a garage to 'only' a lot with a residence. Please select the statement(s) that best reflect your view. (Check all that apply)

1. Only allow a garage to be built on a lot with a residence (as is allowed today).
2. Amend the restrictive covenants to allow a garage to be built on an adjacent owned lot. (Lots held by the same Owner, that share the same side yard.)
3. Amend the restrictive covenants to allow a garage to be built on an adjacent owned lot behind the primary. (Lots held by the same Owner that share a back lot line.)
4. Amend the restrictive covenants to allow a garage to be built on a contiguous owned lot (A lot across the road which would touch the owners primary lot with a residence, if not for the roadway)
5. There should be no restriction- an Owner should be allowed to build a garage on any owned lot, including one without a residence.
6. I would like to see, and I would use, a community storage unit within Sylvan Shores.

Restrictive covenants should be amended to allow for dwellings to be rented out.
Allow a \"rent with option to buy\" when trying to sell. (Renters would sign a contract and owners would be responsible for their behavior.)
Allow for long term rent option, i.e. entire summer. (No week to week business venture. Renters would sign a contract and owners would be responsible for their behavior.)
