2016 SuccessLink Summer Youth Employment Program: Partnership Application

Overview
Thank you for your interest in the 2016 SuccessLink Summer Youth Employment Program. On behalf of Mayor Martin J. Walsh, BCYF's Division of Youth Engagement & Employment invites your organization to apply for partnership to become a work site in our summer jobs program. The summer program is designed to provide young people in Boston with a meaningful employment opportunity as well as provide the necessary tools to learn valuable skills for future employment.
  • Only community-based organizations with current non-profit status may apply to be work sites for the 2016 SuccessLink Summer Youth Employment Program. The summer program begins on July 5, 2016 and ends on August 12, 2016. Teen employees are allowed to work a maximum of 25 hours per week at an organization.
  • The partnership application deadline is January 15, 2016 at 5 PM. Please make sure to complete the partnership application with as much detail as possible and answer all questions provided.
Evaluation of Partnership Applications
Applications submitted to the 2016 Summer Youth Employment Program will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
  • Complete, detailed applications
  • Performance in previous employment programs (if applicable)
  • Feedback from young people about prior work experiences
  • Commitment to youth development
  • Ability to provide a meaningful work experience
