Participant information
As part of my BSc Educational Psychology degree it is a requirement to conduct a dissertation study. I have chosen to research about teachers' perceptions of head teacher leadership styles and teachers’ job satisfaction. To gather data I am using an online questionnaire which includes three instruments, The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire, The Oxford Happiness Scale and The Job Satisfaction Scale. Demographic information such as “Time spent teaching” will be recorded too. The questionnaire should take approximately 20 minutes. Your participation will provide valuable views on these topics.
However, you do not have to participate if you wish not to and if you want to withdraw you can do so at any time without doing any reason. To withdraw whilst filling out the questionnaire you can close down the web browser. To withdraw after you have completed the questionnaire you can contact me by email within four weeks with the memorable word you will provide.
Views you provide will be written up in a report, however your responses will be given anonymously and no information will be traced back to you. Data will be kept securely and viewed by myself and my dissertation tutor.
If you would like any further information about this research please feel free to email myself. Thank you for your time.
Yours sincerely,
