Gurnard Neighbourhood Plan

Introduction

Welcome to the survey.

Why the survey?
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group (NPSG) has now produced a draft Neighbourhood Plan and wishes to consult residents and stakeholders.  The NPSG will consider feedback from the consultation before it submits the plan to the Isle of Wight Council.

Who can I contact for help and information?
The survey manager is Chris Broughton of independent consultants Chris Broughton Associates. Chris can be contacted by email chris@chrisbroughton.co.uk or telephone or text 07809 625636.

If you want further information about the plan or the work of the NPSG please contact the Parish Clerk by email: gurnardparishcouncil@gmail.com  or telephone 07443 656480 during office hours.

Who can take the survey?
Any Gurnard resident over 18 years of age can take the survey.  You may also take the survey if you are not a resident but wish to have your say, but please make this clear in question 1.

How do I take the survey?
We ask that you answer the initial questions about yourself, consider each neighbourhood plan policy statement in turn and answer a short question on each. Paper copies of the survey are available from the Parish Clerk

Is my response confidential?
Your response will be confidential, only Chris will see the results.   His survey report will summarise the information provided.

How can I see the Draft Neighbourhood Plan document in full?
The draft plan itself contains the context to the policy statement and if you want to consider this information or perhaps look at the maps referred to in the policies before you respond simply follow the next link to the draft plan. You can read this online, download it or see a paper copy The draft plan is viewable online by clicking the following link: http://gurnardneighbourhoodplan.org.uk/draft-neighbourhood-plan/

The closing date for the survey is Friday 20th May 2016.
