Propose a Special Column

Please fill out the below fields to submit your special column proposal to Current Zoology.

A special column is five to eight peer-reviewed papers published along with other regularly accepted papers in the same issue (examples are available in recently published issues).

Guest Editors are responsible for recruiting submissions, ensuring the quality of the scientific content of the manuscript, and for managing the peer review process, and are expected to write an editorial for the special column/issue.

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively to Current Zoology. In addition to the editorial, the Guest Editors may only be involved in one paper each which is handled by the executive editor.

1. Special Column/Issue Title:
The title of the special column/issue should be short, informative, and attract interest from both experts in the field and a general audience. *This question is required.

2. Summary of topic (maximum 500 words):
Please provide a brief synopsis of the subject area to be covered in the special column/issue. The description should explain the importance of the topic, be concise, free of jargon, and understandable to a non-specialist. *This question is required.

3. Email Address:
Please provide your email address so that we may contact you regarding your proposal. *This question is required. This question requires a valid email address.

4. Website:
Please provide a link to your website or research page (if applicable).
