Boise Residents Neighborhood Engagement Survey

Introduction

The Boise Commons is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help people improve their ability to work together on common needs and issues, and to help create more opportunities for that collaboration.

We've recently been surveying Boise neighborhood associations in order to obtain a realistic and useful understanding of their purposes, range of interests, strengths, weaknesses, areas of need, and other dimensions. However, the associations and their boards reflect only a part of the picture.  As a resident, your perspective on neighborhood and on neighborhood-level organizing is important, regardless of whether you are involved with a neighborhood association. Hearing about your perspective is the purpose for this survey.

The results will contribute to a city-wide report that will help inform the general public, the neighborhood associations, and city government. The results will very likely help your neighborhood association and your city be more responsive to your needs. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

There are a total of 34 questions. Some are required and some are not. Please complete as many as possible, because each one will provide important data.

Confidentiality: Your participation in this survey and your responses to the questions below are 100% anonymous.
