In today’s world of high-traffic and high-speed communications, legal and regulatory controls are becoming increasingly stringent and complex. It is now more important than ever for a business to be able to implement a document retention policy that is right and tailored to its specific operations and market.

Does your business have a document retention policy, and what is it?

Are employees aware of this policy?

Is your document retention policy right for your business?

While retention periods for some documents are specified or implied in legislation, documents may also be required as evidence in legal proceedings, where different limitation periods apply, depending on the jurisdiction in which the business operates and whether the proceedings are civil or criminal.

Additionally, a business will have exposure to reputational risks arising out of communications and document management issues.

In this 2 hour practical workshop, Monica Salgado will look at the ways in which you can mitigate many of these legal, regulatory and reputational risks with a robust and carefully considered document retention policy: a must for all businesses.

Who should attend?
This workshop is aimed at both in-house counsel and private practitioners wishing to improve their knowledge on document retention.

You can attend the workshop for just £129 + VAT.
