McCall Vision Survey

Welcome to McCall Visioning!

What do you value moving forward for McCall? What is your vision for the future? How do we get there?

These are the types of questions that were asked at the McCall in Motion Vision Events on April 26th. As part of McCall in Motion, we are looking to the community to help us identify those values and opportunities for the City. If you missed us at the event, this survey is another opportunity to provide feedback during this stage of the project.

What is McCall in Motion?
McCall in Motion celebrates your love for McCall!  It is based on creating a process and plan that is authentic, memorable, creative, inclusive, and fun, while being rooted in a strong community vision and sense of place.

Knowing how closely linked land use and transportation are, McCall in Motion updates the Comprehensive Plan and creates a new Transportation Master Plan. This integrated approach maximizes the efficiency and effectiveness, continuing our efforts to create a more fun, efficient, sustainable and vibrant community. 

Collectively, the process to develop these plans is called “McCall in Motion.”

What is the Comprehensive Plan?

A Comprehensive Plan is the primary planning policy document for the community. It will be a long-term, strategic plan with a guiding vision and strategies; and it will shape decisions related to new development, redevelopment, city programs, and services.

What is the Transportation Master Plan Plan?

The Transportation Master Plan is the primary transportation policy document for the community. The purpose of this Transportation Master Plan is to present a long-term strategy to guide the planning, development, and maintenance of a multi-modal transportation system in a manner that is consistent with projected needs, and aligned with the City’s growth and overall vision.

What is the process?
The process for McCall In Motion is one that fully engages the entire community, embraces its cultures, respects the history, and protects the environment. It will build upon and integrate former planning efforts, define measurable and realistic implementation strategies to achieve the community’s vision. The plan update will provide a clear path for creating positive change and serve as a tool for policy change, funding and implementation of projects, and public-private partnerships.
