Youth engagement with politics on social media

Introduction

This survey looks at how social media and digital services are affecting political engagement of young people. The research is being undertaken on behalf of a UK-based non-profit organisation that wishes to encourage youth political engagement. The organisation is independent and not affiliated with any political party.

The data collected will only be accessible to researchers from the non-profit and the University of Nottingham. Aggregate data may be used in academic research papers and conference presentations. However, your answers will NOT be attributed to you without your prior and informed consent.
Completing the questionnaire should only take 5-10 minutes.

Please note: in this questionnaire we intend the word ‘political’ to include social, environmental and economic issues, problems and causes; it concerns both grassroots/community and national/global issues.
