POLL: What's your opinion about working foresty in Washington state?

1. Generally speaking, do you approve or disapprove of the actions of most forest products companies (such as private forest landowners, tree farmers, timber companies, wood products manufacturers) on issues affecting Washington's forests? *This question is required.
3. On average, when we substitute wood for energy-intensive building products, we offset two tons of carbon emissions for every dry metric ton of sustainably grown wood used.  Pound-for-pound, wood is as strong as steel and extremely durable and modern mass timber building products are more fire-safe and earthquake stable than alternatives.

Would you approve or disapprove of more use of wood in new buildings in your local community? *This question is required.
4. Private forest landowners replant and reestablish new forests within three years after timber is harvested.

After reading that statement, do you approve or disapprove of encouraging the use of more mass timber in new construction? *This question is required.
5. In Washington state, unemployment in rural counties continues to exceed the state average and is far higher than in more densely populated counties.

Do you support or oppose the growth and harvest of timber, and manufacturing of cross laminated timber and other mass timber products as ways to strengthen rural economies?
