I am a MSc Environmental Strategy student at the University of Surrey and I would like to invite you to participate in an online survey. The survey has been calculated to take 3 minutes and is only comprised of multiple choice questions. The information below outlines the objectives and aims of the study and how you can help as a participant.
The aim of this investigation is to determine the opinions of livestock farmers on the potential re-introduction of wolves to the UK. Understanding public attitudes allows policymakers to minimise conflict and hence increase the successfulness of the re-introduction. This project is neither for or against the re-introduction of wolves. Its sole purpose is to understand and identify the opinions of livestock farmers. Therefore, only those who are livestock farmers are able to take part in this study. If you do not want to take part then you do not need to give a reason. Also, if you decide to withdraw from the study then you can close the survey and your submission will be deleted. All answers are anonymous.
The study begins by asking you to provide some demographic information. This follows on to a section that gauges your general opinion about wolves. Lastly, multiple choice questions will be asked with direct relation to wolves and farming. There will be a text box at the end of the survey if you would like to add any further comments about the questions.
