Vicky is Pearson's AGC for Strategy and Special Initiatives. Pearson is undergoing significant change as its business transforms; moving from print to digital, from products to services, selling more directly to consumer and into the worlds growth economies, all underpinned by a major restructuring of back office systems designed to simplify business processes.

She was promoted in 2014 to work alongside Pearson’s first global GC to design and build the legal function from the disparate legal teams within Pearson. Pearson’s global legal function comprises of about 150 people, 60% of whom are based in the US, the remainder are spread across 5 continents.

In her current role Vicky leads Pearson's legal operations team with responsibility for implementing a major change programme across the global legal function involving substantial process improvement and new systems for e-billing, contract management and e-signature. She has also created and leads the North America contracts function, a centrally managed ‘shared services’ team of contracts professionals in various locations who support the business and legal function through a focus on value added activities.

Jeremy has had a long and varied career in leadership, management and marketing of legal practices, spanning three decades in top-tier sets of barristers’ chambers followed more recently by leading roles in two of the most successful and highly-acclaimed new model legal businesses.  He has covered a wide variety of specialist practice areas, industry sectors, client types and geographical markets.
 
Jeremy is now a freelance consultant focusing on helping businesses select, engage and manage legal services and technology solutions.
