On Tuesday, August 30 at 3:30pm in Silver Center Room 208, NYU Steinhardt is offering new transfer students an opportunity to take the Expository Writing Exam, a graduation requirement. Please complete the form below regarding your RSVP for this requirement.
You are required to take the exam if you meet
ONE of the following criteria:
1. You have transfer credits applied to both Writing the Essay and Advanced College Essay.
OR
2. You transferred in the equivalent of one writing course, which was applied to Advanced College Essay, and you plan to submit a Portfolio for a waiver of Writing the Essay.

Students who transfer in one writing course (applied to Advanced College Essay), who
do not wish to submit a waiver portfolio for review, are expected to take the Writing the Essay course before graduation. Portfolio waivers are not guaranteed.
