ESIP Meeting Sponsorship Prospectus and Agreement -Winter 2017

ESIP meeting sponsors align their brand with an educated, tech-savvy audience of leading scientists, data practitioners, technologists and decision-makers who embrace innovation and fresh points of view. Sponsors increase their visibility and have the opportunity to promote products and services—and gain solid science credibility for being associated with ESIP. 

By supporting ESIP meetings, sponsors:

  • Build relationships with the highly technical and influential Earth science data community
  • Demonstrate product leadership and expertise, and acquire new customer leads 
  • Receive logo and brand exposure with acknowledgement in key places
  • Meet and recruit high-level science talent
Sponsors can choose to provide general meeting support, fund student participation or host conference events, including hackathons, breaks and receptions. Below are suggested options; we can also tailor a sponsorship package for your needs.

Sponsorship Package Information:

Sponsors can choose to provide general meeting support. Below are suggested options; we can also tailor a sponsorship package for your needs.  

Premier: Donations of $30,000 (Limit of 3)

  • Sponsorship of the main meeting reception, with booth and two breaks
  • Branding of meeting live-stream and recordings with logo
  • Name and company logo printed on a sponsored item
  • Six full meeting registrations
  • Organization logo, description and website link from ESIP meeting website
  • Organization logo on publicity materials, signage and plenary session stage
Gold: Donations of $15,000 (Limit of 5)
  • Sponsorship of the main meeting reception
  • Branding of meeting live-stream and recordings with logo
  • Name and company logo printed on a sponsored item
  • Four full meeting registrations
  • Organization logo, description and website link from ESIP meeting website
  • Organization logo on publicity materials, signage and plenary session stage

Silver: Donations of $10,000 (Limit of 5)

  • Sponsorship of the meeting hackathon or one break with food and beverages
  • Two full meeting registrations
  • Organization logo, description and website link from ESIP meeting website
  • Organization logo on publicity materials, signage and plenary session stage
Bronze: Donations of $5,000 
  • Co-sponsorship of one break with food and beverages
  • Two full meeting registrations
  • Organization logo, description and website link from the ESIP meeting website
  • Organization logo on publicity materials, signage and plenary session stage
Friend: $3,000 for corporations and $1,000 for individuals
  • One full meeting registration
  • Organization logo, description and website link from the ESIP meeting website
  • Organization logo on publicity materials, signage and plenary session stage

Custom Sponsorship Opportunities:

The following custom sponsorship opportunities can be combined with one of the above packages or chosen independently. Add-on options are subject to availability. Below are suggested options; we can also tailor a sponsorship package for your needs. 

Poster Session Reception: $5,000

Plenary Live Stream: $7,500 - Our event plenary talks are streamed on day two and three of the meeting and made available on YouTube immediately after. Live stream sponsorship includes branding of meeting live-stream and recordings with logo, providing huge visibility.

Travel Fellowships for Early Career Researchers: $2,000 - ESIP supports talented young researchers by helping them explore collaborative new research projects at a critical early stage of their careers. Each year, six graduate students and postdocs interested in bridging the gap between informatics, technology, and Earth science and applying research to real-world problems are selected as ESIP Student Fellows. Travel fellowships cover registration, lodging and travel expenses for the fellows. 

Lanyard: $1,500 per Meeting or $3000 for both 2017 meetings - Gain high visibility with your branded lanyards during the meeting. Your lanyards will be given to every attendee to use throughout the conference. Sponsorship at this level includes company logo on lanyards, an acknowledgement on the meeting website, and in online and hard copy meeting materials.
