SBER Network Survey

SBER Network Survey
Greetings! I'm Linda Petree, director of the Office of the Institutional Review Board at The University of New Mexico. We would like to create a network of Social, Behavioral, and Educational Research (SBER) HRPPs across the US (and internationally), and provide opportunities and a forum for SBER institutions/IRBs to collaborate and discuss issues unique to oversight of SBER research. In particular, we’d like to work together to develop some guidelines and standards for human subjects research oversight that could be used by organizations to help provide consistency in HRPP and/or organizational review and oversight. This effort is especially timely in light of the pending revisions to the Common Rule outlined in the NPRM, which would significantly impact SBER HRPPs. We hope that this network will help members derive creative solutions in real time to address concerns as changes are made in the regulatory landscape.

Please take a few minutes to respond to the questions below. Thank you for your feedback!
