Joan Kirner Landcare Award

The Joan Kirner Landcare Award is for an individual who has been involved in championing the Landcare movement in Victoria, has contributed significantly to Landcare over a long period of time, and has demonstrated commitment to forging partnerships and in working closely with the community.

Eligibility guidelines
The award recipient must be an individual who is:

actively involved in Landcare in Victoria
addresses all of the selection criteria.

Please address each of the Selection criteria - (300 words per criteria)

Can demonstrate a commitment to establishing partnerships across the community
Has shown an outstanding commitment to local communities and encourages community activity.
Champions and advocates for Landcare in the broader community.
Champions the Landcare ethic.
Shows a remarkable commitment to caring for the land.
Inspires and encourages others to take action (either on their own property or through a group).

Nominations close at midnight on Sunday 23 October 2016.

Winners will be announced on 25 November 2016 at an awards ceremony which nominees will be invited to.

The winner of the Joan Kirner Landcare Award will be published on the Victorian Landcare Gateway: www.landcarevic.org.au
