Need-Based Scholarships toward the registration fee are offered to help make Positive Discipline Association workshops available to economically and socially diverse demographic groups. Prioritization will be given to those who intend to use Positive Discipline to teach others or to serve as a professional or volunteer in a social work or counseling capacity. The PDA asks that scholarship applicants allow for two weeks between the date of application and the first day of the requested workshop. Please complete the Scholarship Application below to be considered. Please note: Due to high demand during the COVID-19 Pandemic, priority will be given to applicants wishing to attend one of the three core PDA workshops: Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way, Positive Discipline in the Classroom and Positive Discipline for Early Childhood Educators. The PDA is not currently offering scholarships for Empowering People in the Workplace or Art of Facilitating Positive Discipline Workshops. Also, due to COVID-19, we have temporarily limited scholarship awards to one per person.
