Partner Questionnaire for Solar/Battery Study

Flathead Electric Cooperative (FEC) is searching for a facility in our service territory that is owned by a tax-exempt non-profit where FEC will install a net-metered solar array (surplus energy feeds back to the electric system to be used at a later date) with battery backup. If you have a facility that has usage similar to a family residence please complete the survey below.

The goal of this project is to install, control, and monitor the system to gather data on battery/solar systems that are connected to the electric grid. FEC will monitor the system for up to 10 years. At the end of the study, the system and all the benefits would remain at your facility. The potential benefits to your organization may include: reduced energy costs on your electric bill due to the solar production, battery backup to critical electrical circuits during an outage, and promotion by FEC of your organization as our partner in this innovative project.
