Thank you for submitting your Annual Assurance of Compliance form for approval between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2019. If this is your first request for approval, it will begin 10/1/2018. If this is a renewal application your approval will continue automatically. I will post the list of providers here: http://www.k12.wa.us/certification/clockhours.aspx . The Annual Assurance of Compliance Form must be submitted annually. Please tag your calendar to complete the form here: http://www.k12.wa.us/certification/clockhours.aspx and submit it for the year you wish to be in clock hour approval status.

Even if an agency is on the approved clock hour provider list, the clock hours are not eligible unless there is acceptable documentation and unless the clock hours were/are offered under the given rules:

Agencies must comply with the Continuing Education Program Approval Standards and required recordkeeping regulations as stated in the given WACs to include;

o    Teacher Standards: Each preparation program must be in compliance with the program approval standards- WAC 181-78A-220(5)
o    WAC 181-85-030 (5) indicates what cannot be clock hours
o    WAC 181-85-030 (6) minimum In-service program clock hours
o    WAC 181-85-045 (2) committee approval of offerings prior to them being held
o    WAC 181-85-200 documentation
o    WAC 181-85-205 recordkeeping
