Australian Network on Disability Hackathon Ideas Form

Help us Hack 4 Good

Assistive technology and accessible Information Communication Technology (ICT) offers people with disability better flexibility, freedom and participation in all aspects of life. What’s more, access to assistive and accessible technology opens the door to services, employment and connectivity for everyone.

So how can organisations harness the power of technology to better include people with disability?

Held in November 2016 and hosted by Microsoft Australia in partnership with the Australian Network on Disability, our upcoming Hackathon*, Hack 4 Good, will bring the best and brightest minds in technology together to support the development of accessible technology solutions to remove barriers for people with disability.

In order to devise these solutions, we really need your help.

We’re seeking the guidance of people with disability to let us know about the common barriers faced in day-to-day life that could be resolved through technology solutions.

The best responses will be selected for Hackers to work on during the event and authors will receive a $50 Westfield gift card.

Submissions close Friday 28 October, 12pm AEST.

Don’t miss the opportunity to have your voice heard and potentially see an innovative solution to a barrier you face come to life.
